Reiki 1, 2, And 3— Things To Know Before Entering A Reiki Class

Reikiclasses consist of Reiki 1, 2, and 3levels. Currently, training is available in the Usui Reiki lineage, which serves as the foundation for all modern variations of Reiki. Usui Reiki was passed down from teacher to student in Japan via the students of Dr. Mikao Usui, a healer inspired by Tibetan techniques in the early twentieth century.

Reiki Level 1

Learn About Reiki

Reiki Level 1 is a gentle introduction to the concepts of Reiki healing. Throughout this course, you will establish a direct connection to the Reiki source. Following the Reiki Level One class, you will have access to Reiki energy through your intention. You can heal and treat yourself and others in a hands-on and personal manner. From here, with practice, your connection will become stronger.

There are no prerequisites! Anyone, regardless of their perceived spiritual or healing journey, can learn the gentle healing art of Reiki, from beginners to advanced meditators, yogis, and healing arts practitioners, as well as social workers, therapists, and medical professionals, and anyone else with an open mind and a desire to learn Reiki.

Reiki Level 2

Practitioner

Reiki Level 2 is a transformative experience that strengthens your connection to the energy.This class expands the body's energy centers approximately four times as much as Level 1. It will hone your ability to heal, assist others in overcoming pain or discomfort, and strengthen your spiritual connection. In this level, you can now charge for your services and send Reiki to people across time and space through distance healing.

Prerequisite: Certification at the Level 1 level by any teacher and in any Reiki tradition. If you have not taken Level 1, you can take it form accredited/licensed Reiki class.

Reiki Level 3

Master

The Master Level is when you learn what it means to surrender to Reiki's mastery. Allow yourself to channel more Reiki energy, expand your healing toolkit with a collection of potent tools, and invite higher vibrations into your daily life. The class begins with clearing meditations to prime and open your energy body in preparation for receiving the Master Level attunement. Afterwards, you'll learn the Master Symbol and learn about more advanced techniques, like psychic surgery and other ways to move energy.

Prerequisite: attunement to Usui Reiki Level 2 by any teacher.
